Plano optics
Aachener Quarzglas manufactures high-precision plane optics with surface qualities up to P4 and flatness up to λ/10 for demanding applications in laser technology, sensor technology, and mechanical engineering.
Plane optical elements with the highest surface quality
Aachener Quarzglas – an excellent choice when absolute precision is required! Using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, we produce plane optical elements for demanding industrial customers. Our plane optics are successfully used in applications such as laser technology, scanner systems, sensor technology, and machine tool manufacturing.
Thanks to professional manufacturing methods, we can achieve plane optics with surface qualities up to P4 and flatness of up to λ/10. Modern measuring devices and testing instruments ensure consistently high quality in both single-piece and series production.
Our company manufactures glass wafers and substrates from a wide range of glass types available on the market. At our production facility in Aachen, we produce wafers in round or rectangular formats, wafers with edge chamfers, flats or SEMI-notches, as well as wafers with laser-induced engravings and markings, all in accordance with modern industry standards.
One of Aachener Quarzglas’s specialized competencies in the production of windows and substrates is the manufacturing of optical access elements for test engines.
