Our manufacturing spectrum starts with the production of windows in viewing glass quality for endoscopic examinations. Additionally, Aachener Quarzglas has the technological manufacturing expertise to produce mechanically polished precision cylinders with corresponding piston windows. Special geometries for the base and bowl are not a manufacturing obstacle for us, but rather a solvable challenge for our specialists.

Aachener Quarzglas also possesses excellent expertise in the production of pressure chamber windows, which are used in wind tunnels and test rigs for innovative jet propulsion systems. Benefit from our long-standing know-how in processing quartz glass, which, due to its optical, thermal, and mechanical properties, is ideally suited for applications with extreme pressure and temperature gradients. When using quartz glass, we are able to optimize the stability of pressure chamber windows, particularly in the installation and clamping areas, by flame polishing the ground surfaces.
