In custom-certified processes, Aachener Quarzglas manufactures high-quality glass and ceramic components for complex industrial applications across 2,500 square meters of production space. The expertise of the 60-member team and comprehensive quality assurance guarantee the consistent adherence to the high-quality specifications of demanding customers.
The quality assurance process begins with careful incoming goods inspection. Subsequently, the quartz glass, borosilicate glass, and ceramic products are tested throughout the entire manufacturing process. Visual inspections are conducted both on individual machines and through precisely specified intermediate checks in our quality assurance department. The extent of the final inspection can be extended to a 100% check upon customer request, with a standard final inspection based on AQL 1.5. All generated protocols are comprehensively documented and archived for a period of 10 years.
